In general, the "Stop Hand Symbol" means that the backlight is failing. It is meant to prevent you from making an unintended selection on the screen.
Do you still have full brightness on the screen ? Does cycling power make the error symbol go away ?
Since it's a PV+600, there cannot be a firmware mismatch between the logic module and the screen; that can happen on one specific version of 5.10 logic module with the PV+700-1500.
You should get in touch with your Rockwell Automation distributor to have the terminal repaired or replaced.
