Hello All,
I want to tell a motor to travel 50" away from an absolute position (Home Position).
How can I accomplish this in Kinetix 300?
Currently, I am using MSG instruction to Read Assembly 113 and Write Assembly 114. I can:
1. read status
2. start motion & homing
3. stop motion & abort homing
What I need:
1. tell the motor to travel specific number of inches.
I tried:
1. CommandPosition (in Assembly 114)
2. Target Position (ID = 184)
Couldn't get the motor to start.
What should I do? Am I understanding right?
