Vfd signal 4-20ma

Are you talking about a 4-20ma from the controller to the VFD ?

The page you referenced is showing you how to scale the analog signal in reference to the Max and Min freq.

I have no idea what you mean by invert an analog current signal....
 
As the others have said, you don't invert the signal itself, you invert the ACTION taken by the drive to the signal. It's not clearly stated in that manual section, but if you understand what those parameters mean, you can do it there.
