Is there any Free software for these I need to upload a program and put in another unit I have the output light turning off but the power never goes away on relay output, thinking the relay welded.
 
I am downloading Lite version after registering at Omron, (Taking Forever) are there proprietary cables needed The unit in question is connected to an Omron touch screen through an RS232C adapter I believe.
 
Thanks, So I should make up a serial cable with the jumpers and 9 to 5

Yes you need the serial cable.

And
Yes also to a good USB-RS232 converter
Many on the market. I prefer KEYSPAN
