I have a few old HP programmable power supplies - HP 6033A's. I'd like to control them from a CompactLogix 1769-L33ER. The power supplies have a GPIB interface, previously they were controlled using a PROLOGIX GPIB-ETHERNET Controller using LabView.
I'm unclear about the hardware and or logic I will need to use the PLC to control the power supplies.
Any help or advice would be welcome.

Did you get an answer. I have a GPIB device that needs to be controled by a compact logix plc.

Thanks

I've only seen GPIB in my LabView days.

With the ProLogix mentioned above, you should be able to do a socket connection from the PLC. Haven't done it personally.
