Hi.
I am connecting and started to program the SLC5/03 (L532, E, 8, OS302 C) cpu
with PV600, RIO. Finally I got green light on the scanner card.
But: the response is too slow. On PV600 I programmed only 1 momentary push button.
When I press it, it takes 3-6 seconds until I see the output comes on on PLC. In the mean time I released the PB the output is still on for about 2 seconds.

Is this a PanelView Standard, or a PanelView Plus ?

Is the pushbutton part of the discrete I/O image, or part of a block transfer ?

If it's part of the discrete I/O, there must be a "hold time" or other button object configuration error, or an extremely poor network connection that is frequently erroring out and reconnecting.

If it's part of the block transfers, you need to put in some logic to measure how fast the block transfers are operating. Generally I just put retentive timers on the /EN bit and reset them with the /DN bit.
