RSLogix 500

Hello, I have problem to make conection via RSLinx with Panel View 7 2711P.
I see him but as unrecognized device. Is there any option with EDS or something similar.
I need to conect that panel(2711P) with MicroLogix 1100 Series A.
Is that possible?

You title implies that you are trying to communicate with the PV using RSLogix 500. The PanelView Plus requires Factory Talk View.

Yes, my mistake. I have Factory Talk but also there is "unrecognized devices".
When something similar happens on RSLogix 5000, i simply install EDS or AOP.
But here i dont know what to do.
How I can add that panel so RSLinx can recognize him?

I've not come across that problem so I'm not sure how to help. My guess is that the PV+ is newer than your version of RSLinx so I'm guessing you might need to update RSLinx

I'm not quite following what you are trying to do. RSLinx Classic is not used to do work with Panelview Plus 7.

Are you trying to transfer the runtime file over? If so, you use RSLinx Enterprise to set the path from the PV to PLC then use the Tranfer Utility to transfer the run-time file to the PV.

It turns that Panel isn't supported with version of my RSLogix 500, so I changed that Panel with older version of Panel.

So, on that way I solved the problem.

I am sorry, I am just in middle of project which should be done very quickly!
