Hi evryoane,
I have a AB 1746NI04V analog output module ., Connected sketch attached.
LED controldoes not illuminate.
How can I check if the module is working properly?

This module is part of the automation equipment of plastic injection machines, made with SLC 500 PLC.
To this module is attached analog control equipment for hydraulic parameters.
If this module does not work the way the machines goes malfunction.
Beacause LED does not light I considered that the module does not work.
I would like to know how I can test the module and where I find electrical diagram for service.

I can't tell whether your field device is what the rest of the world calls a "pressure transducer", a device that converts pressure to an electronic signal (whose signal is an input signal to a PLC, going to an analog input, not an analog output.), or an I/P (eye-to-Pee, meaning current (I) to pressure (p) transducer).

I can't tell whether your module is an AI or an AO.

If your device is an I/P with an AO from the PLC then to test a 4-20mA output from a PLC AO, take a DVM, break/open the wire at the PLC AO (+) and put the positive lead from an Ampmeter or milliameter (ranged at 20mA or 200mA full scale) put the negative lead on the wire going to the transducer and see how much current the AO is producing.

Looking at his diagram and referring to the manual at the link - the module is a 2 In / 2 Out analog. Only the first of the 2 in channels is being used. Of the 'outs' the first is going to a single unit. The second is going to one of 2 units depending on the external switch.

I'm guessing when he says 'the LED' he means one on this particular module.

As far as troubleshooting the manual at the link provided should be used first.

Dear friends,
Sorry I did not understand me.
LED which no light is LED indicating the POWER of module.
Therefore I asked how I can check 1746NI04V module.

Check the back plane connections on the card. Unseat and reseat the card.

Power down first though!
