Proface GP-ProEX

Hi all,
I am using a Mitsibushi Q series PLC and Proface GP4000 series HMI.
I am trying to insert variables into a text field or on a selector list but having no luck. Customer wants to display the part number they have created.
Any suggestions?

Not sure I understand your question, but can't you just use a text display with a text file in GP-Pro EX for what you are trying to do? Or is the customer manually entering the part number in on the display?

The customer is manually entering a part number
For example: PROGRAM # [PLC]D0001000
I know you can do this in Factory Talk but can't seem to find it in Proface.

try Parts(p) -> Data Display (D) -> Text Display (S) in the basic tab check allow input and you should have it.

The Proface software has some limitations, had to get a little creative
