Hi all,

there is something that is not making sense to me. Upon system powerup, twice in a row two brand new Sinamics PM240-2 started smoking and had a blown up capacitor inside after.

Has someone had a similar experience please?

Thank you

To those points:
The type of power system you have (TT, TN, IT, etc.) combined with whether or not the PM240 has or does not have the integrated EMC filter, makes all the difference in the world. Without that information we cannot help you.
