Has anybody tried to install Rs Logix 500 ver 5.00.00 on windows xp Pro. I try to install it and get a message that the system is not nt 4.0. Help please.

RSLogix 500 checks the operatin system before it installs. RSLogix 500 did not support installation in Windows XP until version 5.20 (the current release is 6.10).

You can try using Windows XP compatibility mode, but the simplest thing to do is get the current version of RSLogix 500.

I install rslogix 5.20 in windows xp pro, but the program doesn`t works in order,always appears a error message, i trying to find a newest version V7.0 to try.

Assume you are running XP Pro with service pack 2? I had the exact same problem about 4 months ago. I'm now running Verison 5.5 which works well with no errors on installation.
