Ill start. Did this job last October. It's a flour system that had an old GE PLC with modules that were taped in.

This job the panel was not "trashed" but was full of dedicated controllers that did not do what the customer wanted. They just "made it work" some how.

I replaced everything with a Compactlogix L30 and Red Lion G12. Works great and they have had me back a couple of different times to do more work. So I guess it pays to do good work
