We have some Pines Benders that we want to upgrade to a digital bend angle, one of them has a CompactLogix PLC with a 1769-HSC module, but I was hoping to go cheaper by using a Micro850 (either the DC models that have embedded HSC inputs or the AC models with a 2080-MOT-HSC). Is there a difference between their performance, or are they pretty similar? I will be attaching an encoder to the High Speed Counter module. Thanks!
