Record data / logging on a SLC5/03

Hello all,

I have a enquiry about logging the changes of state of a specific register over time on a SLC5/03 processor, running rslogix 500.

Do you have experience of how this can be done or suggest possible ways?

I would like to analyse some data at a later point.

Are you using any HMI software?

thank you for your response.

No these PLCs are at remote sites in cabinets. so any recording would have to be local to this.

How many data points do you expect? Is there enough remaining memory in the PLC to log it to a data table?
