1771-RIO with CLX (outputs not firing)

It's been a while since I had to do this, so I'm a bit rusty.
I migrated PLC-5 to CLX and for now, we kept the PLC-5 RIO in place. The PLC-5 was upgraded, but the RIO racks were not touched, so nothing would have changed from that aspect. I have a 1771-ASB module for an 8-slot PLC-5 rack. The rack is mixed with IADs and OADs. I can see inputs turning on fine, but when trying to test some outputs, nothing comes alive.
The rack is set for full, and I have no errors.

I never tried CLGX & 1771-ASB. So I did a quick search in RA Knowledgebase and found this technotes:

If you don't have TechConnect access you'll need to provide more information about how you're configuring the remote IO, how many slots are used/unused, etc.

And that actually helped, BTW. I have a 12 slot rack with 8 being used, so I had to add another ASB in the Logix config for a 1/2 rack to make it work.
