I would like some advice in regard to adding an Allen Bradley SLC 5/05 to an existing Fix32 V7.0 installation. At the moment there is only 1x PLC connected to the SCADA, being a PLC-5
The configured I/O driver is ABR - Allen Bradley RSLinx v6.531
When I open the ABR I/O driver configurator, I can see channel 1 configured for the PLC 5.
Do I add the SLC 5/05 to Channel 2 and configure its primary IP address?
or
Do I select "add" a "device" on the channel 1 tab?

Once configured do I need to restart the Fix application?
Any other advice would be warmly welcomed.
