Modbus programming

Hi!

I have a project where I have to control a motor. The problem I am facing is the PLC is of Schneider and the drive is of Delta. I do not know how to use modbus communication in So Machine(3.1)(Schneider software).
Please help any form of basic idea is also appreciated.
