Hi,

we have a machine with a ControlLogix rack and 2 EN2T network cards in that rack. One is for the normal Ethernet/IP subnet (192.168.11.xxx), for all the Point-IO, Kinetix, Powerflex,...

The second network card is a different subnet (192.168.0.xxx) which is for communication to a Automation-PC.

Right now we have a remote access solution which makes it possible to get an IP out of the 192.168.0.xxx subnet to reach the PLC and the Automation-PC.

But it´s only possible to go online with the PLC. All the other devices in the 192.168.11.xxx are not reachable. But this would be very helpful for webserver diagnostics, Powerflex parameter change...

I´m not a really informatic specialist, but is there a solution to get a bridge to the 2. Ethernet card with the 192.168.11.xxx network?

Thank you very much for your replies!

Go to RSLinx and punch though the backplane to the 192.168.11.xxx card then right click on ethernet and select porperties. This will bring up a box that lets you select a list of IP addresses that should be on that subnet. If you don't know all of them just select the entire IP range. This will let you view devices in the other subnet in RSlinx or drive executive but I doubt you will be able to use the web server. See attached pictures.

Depending on your network topology, the PC might be able to communicate with both EN2T cards if all three devices have the same default gateway, i.e 192.168.1.254

Check the default gateway in the IP settings of the PC and change the the EN2T cards to match this.
