Can someone give me instructions on how to put a drop down list in a display? I'm using FactoryTalk View Studio SE v9.00.

You can use a small OnTop display (do NOT use "cannot be replaced").
For the menu button, have that open the OnTop.
In the button, put in your action + close the OnTop.
