PowerFlex 525- If Ethernet/IP is selected , but I want to control speed via.4-20 ma.

Good Morning ,

I have a PowerFlex 525 , that most controls are set for Ethernet/IP. I would like to control the speed with 4-20 ma. from a output card on another PLC. I changed the Speed Reference from Ethernet/IP to 4-20 ma. , but the Ethernet from the MicroLogix 1400 is still controlling the speed. What do you think I am doing wrong ?

What specific parameter(s) did you change in the 525?

Did you change parameters 47, 49, 51? Are you selecting speed reference sources? I would set 47, 49, 51 all to 4-20ma Input, just in case something is inadvertently trying to switch speed sources.

All 3 set to 4-20 ma. I there any other influences, possible ?

Cycle power?

I'm sorry. Just my 4-20 ma output isn't changing. I need to look at that.
