Hii everyone...i want to ask some questions about AS-Interface and Profibus...

What are as-interface's advantages over profibus?

On which specific occassions I should pick as-i or profibus?

What are the criterias?

AS-i is a networking option for sensors and actuators, it offers reduced wiring more than anything.

Profibus is a fieldbus type network that allows communication/data to transfer between devices connected to the network.

AS-i can be connected to a higher level fieldbus for remote I/O options.
