How do I Compare Programs

I am trying to update a program by going from V20 in RSLogix 5000 to V24 in Studio 5000. I am going to add some additional logic as well. How could I smoothly compare the two programs logic/tags?

I have downloaded the .csv files of the tags for both programs so far.

Any ideas or procedures you guys use?

Sure, I use the Logix Designer Compare tool. Should come w/ your Studio install, if it didn't install it is on the dvds.

I would first do a compare of your original V20 program and the V24 program before adding any additional tags/logic. Make sure nothing unexpected changed.

Then you can add whatever else you want and do additional compares.
