My name is Marko and I have a question regarding the VersaMax to EA9 AutomationDirect HMI. Is it possible to communicate between the two using the Ethernet connection? For this, I am using the SRTP protocol on the HMI side and am connected to the HMI via Ethernet cable. Just want to mention that I can ping the HMI and PLC but cannot get any data exchange.

I haven't used a C-More in a few years, but the last time I did, they did not have an Ethernet communication driver for GE PLCs, only serial (SNP). Since you mention "SRTP protocol on the HMI side", it may be that they have added that functionality. Does the C-More give you a series of error messages?

According to the EA9 literature from Automation Direct:
GE PLC's - Protocol Supported
90/30, 90/70, Micro 90, VersaMax Micro - SNPX Serial
90/30, Rx3i - SRTP Ethernet

I'm not sure why the AD document leaves out the VersaMax PLC from the list of PLCs under SRTP. I have personally used SRTP to communicate with a VersaMax CPUE05. But not the AD implementation of SRTP.
