kv1000

any body had an experience programing a kv 1000 keyence .
i tried to connect with a ladder builder but it wont .
what software will i use

I don't think Ladder Builder will work, but not 100% sure.

Ladder Builder is for 10 and 80 series only, but not certain.

If you have any software for their 300 line, give it a try.

I'm not sure if I have ever seen a 1000, I think it may be fairly old.

I have gotten software and training books free from Keyance's website. Browse around there. I looked, but until I get used to these new glasses, I miss a lot of what I'm trying to see.

I just "created" a new program in Ladder Builder. My PLC choices were:

KV10
KV16
KV24
KV40/80
KV300


Looks like you need something else for a 1000.

on the contrary this unit is the latest from keyence and correct me if a i am wrong this unit is use only in japan like there unit kv series the japanese version are kz series .this unit has a lcd display and a key pad to monitor the i/o activity w/ a four line scroll control the display is english and japanese characters.i did connect this with a ladder builder use for 10 to 300 kv series and the error was "some characters are not recognize" any way thanks for posting on my inquery.

Here's the only thing that I can find with a quick search. Since I don't speak/read Japanese it doesn't help me any, but maybe it is worth something to you . . .

Looks like something called "KV Studio" might be appropriate . . .
