RSlogix alternative?

Hello all,

I currently use RSlogix to input ladder logic into a tool
controller. It actually doesn't require RSlogix, as the
.RSS file gets converted to a text file in order to be used.
I do this by marking all of the rungs, then copying and pasting
into notepad. This results in a string of text characters.
I can type them manually and accomplish the same thing, and
it works fine. However, this is cumbersome, and I would like
for some other employees to have the ability to write logic
for these controllers. Does anyone know of another program
which would allow for writing logic and exporting as a text
file? I know it's a long shot, but the AB stuff is so expensive!

Attached is an example

Thanks!
