CIP message example for VB

Looking for VB6 or .NET CIP message example using RSlinx interface.
RSlinx SDK has some API C examples, but I know very little about "C++".

As this post went way down over weekend, I will try to push it up - maybe someone did not see it.

It is not like I did not do homework - let me share some info i found so far:

- RSLINX SDK version has some CIP "C" examples, mostly in command line format.
As I am not good in "C" - I can look, but can't use them.

- RSlinx SDK has very good RSLINX API function description in PDF format, but no examples

None of these items I can post here because they are commercial A-B products.

- I also found at the Rockwell Software site very old RSLINX API examples for Visual Basic, but they are for data access only.
I did play a little with this application and modified it for SLC and ControlLogix.

So I am still looking for VB example for CIP (unconnected or connected) message implementation.

Hi Contr_Conn,

Exactly what are you trying to do.

If you're already using RSLinx then just use it as an OPC server. There are snippets of code all over. Rockwell has sample code too.
If this is a viable solution then let me know and I'll try to dig something up.
