...serial multiplexer for DF1 being produced by Allen-Bradley. In one of their literature magazines, a few weeks ago. Now I can't find it.

The article stated that the device was specifically intended to allow connection to a Micrologix by both a panel and an NET-ENI.

Was I hallucinating? I can't find any reference to the thing anywhere!

I saw it in a AB product listing, so I'm sure it wasn't his.

On the other hand, I just sent an e-mail to TomanTron asking for pricing, and if they could handle such an application. I'm waiting for a reply.

How about it, Jiri? Ever work with a NET-ENI before?

Hi Tim,
I sent you an e-mail. I see no problem with doing this.
The only thing to watch for is the right cabling.
You need to use 1761-CBL-PMxx cables. In any case you will get 30 days to try it out, if it doesn't work you can just send it back.
