Can anybody give a hint where to find detailed documentation about the SRPX protocol GE Fanuc uses on ethernet?

TIA

I've never run across SRPX. GE Fanuc uses SRTP over TCP/IP ethernet. This is their serial SNP protocol modified for TCP/IP. The SNP protocol includes command codes for uploading and downloading programs, so some of the details are proprietary. There is a version of SNP called SNPX which is optimized for data transfer, and for which the details are published. I'm not aware of any manual specifiaclly devoted to SRTP, but the manual GFK-0528 covers serial communications. You can download a copy from the GE Industrial website. You'll need to register to be able to access the manuals. Here's a link to the registration page:

Thank you for your reply. What I meant is SRTP. Guess I got confused by all GE?s abbreviations...
The most valuable hint is that you say it is basically SNP.
Thank you also for telling me that you don't know a specific manual. I feared I overlooked something on GE web site.
