About RSLogix 500

Dear all.
I have a small problem and wondered if anyone here has ever tried it. After installing the rslogix into the computer one has to use the masterdisk to move the activation key to activate the program.

My boss asked me to duplicate the disk just in case there is a problem with the computer and someone format it or something. I wonder if duplicating the diskette with the activation key in it is possible?

It is possible to make a archive copy of the key disk, this post may help. There are other topics about this also.

CopyQM works.

However, if you want to do it legally, if something happens to your activation, Rockwell will reset the activation code once per year, per license. And if your master disk is lost, stolen or corrupted, they will send you another one.
