need help

dear sirs,
we have 60 kva UPS(make : seimens) for control supply(110 Vac) to DCS,PLC systems and feiled instruments.hardly 20 kva load is being utilised out of 60kva.
our question is ,further can we load florescent lamps (with chokes)/sodium vapour lamps and MV lamps for plant emergency lighting loads.Is this non leinear load ill-effects of harmonics and switching surges to ups supply.

please suggest us a solution for emergency lighting supply to our plant .

I think you are asking for trouble, specially when the lighting load inrush kicks in.

Also, what is the output signal of the UPS? Sine, square, or ???

This could be a factor in your non incandescant lighting.
