1771 LIA2 question???

Gentlepeople,

currently we are using the 1771 LIA2 interface card to talk to 30 Moore 352 controllers, mainly to collect data but also to send setpoints from the PLC5/40 to certain controllers.

6 of the 352s are being replaced with Moore 353's (due to increased loop functions).

I have searched up and down to find info on the connectivity between the 1771 LIA2 and the 353's but have run into a brick wall.

Can someone explain to me if the 1771LIA2 indeed supports the 353 controller and how does the programming differ???

So, after returing to this project and finally speaking with AB support, they say that the LIA2 card is only really designed for the 352s but that there is a way to get the 353s to communicate with it by shifting the internal map of the 353 (different starting address).

Has anyone ever tried this before?
