Siemens S7-224 with TouchScreen

The touchscreen is an IDEC.

The question is how do I go online with the PLC when the Touchscreen is connected to the only serial port available on the PLC?

When I used SLCs with touchscreens this wasn't a problem.

Or am I just being stupid and missing something obvious?
