I've noticed a peculiarity with the X-Reference display.

When sorted by Operand increasing, sometimes it shows me my outputs right at the top in the form:

A 0.0 (LG_EIN_AUS_Modul_01)

other times the Outputs appear listed under their symbolic name:

LG_EIN_AUS_Modul_01 (A 0.0)

I've seen this most recently when moving between computers, but I'm pretty certain I've also seen it on one and the same PC at different times.

I haven't been able to find anywhere where I can influence this, The Sort option in the View Menu only offers Operand or Block (increasing or decreasing) and not absolute or symbolic.

I'm not actually aware of ever having consciously changed anything, it just seems to happen.

Anybody any idea why?

Edit:

It's funny how gathering your thoughts to explain something to somebody else often helps you see things more clearly yourself.

I've found the answer, it's dependant on whether you've selected absolute or symbolic priority in Simatic Manager.
