Hi all,

I need the TCP/IP protocol for the siemens s5 and/or s7 PLC's.

Is there anyone that can help me finding these protocols???

I did a quick search for Siemens TCP and found these http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/search.php?searchid=6863

You will find threads there pointing to the Siemens manuals that explain their TCP protocols and also find examples of using the Siemens Native TCP with Visual Basic.

Thats because DesertDog linked to the search results page that was active only while he was online.
Try yourself to search for "Siemens TCP".

I did, and I got some search results.

However, all links the users gave were not valid anymore. So now link to a userguide.

I found a visual basic application how to connect to plc, but it's a demo, not source.

And I need the protocol. I think it is not explained good enough in sourcecode.

There are no FAQ's but there are 3 manuals with much information.
Click the Manual tab to switch from FAQ's to Manuals.
