Differences between IEC1131 and IEC61131-3 standards

Can any one help me in giving differences between IEC1131 and IEC61131-3 standards in terms of PLC
 
IEC 1131 & IEC 61131 are the same standard (programmable logic controllers), the '6' was added when it was 'harmonized'

The -3 just means part 3: programming languages
