Greetings everyone.......Anyone know if there's an AutoCAD P&ID symbol add on somewhere out there? I've got some basic ones I've collected, just looking for a larger library...

Don't know if it helps, i have about 10 or so drawings with P&ID symbols and various references in them (can't remeber where i downloaded them from - i know they were free!

) - they total about 3mB. Happy to email them to you............

why not draw them on a bit of paper , scan them , and import them as bmps ?
You must be very posh and professional having cad in the first place

That would be great Rob, I have a collection of good electrical stuff.....My email is [email protected]. If you send them, I'll return what I have. I'm really looking for tanks, pipes, instruments, pumps, etc...

Ron, don't appologize.....I've never directly chatted with you on here, but the information I've read in your posts over the last couple of years has definately bumped my controls IQ up a few points

I like PIDSYM2. I believe it's available from http://www.caddepot.com. It has menu-driven component selection via previews and a loadable linetype file with standard ISA process line types. I recommend it.
