I want to know the hardware needed to connect SIEMENS S7-300 CPU-315-2DP through MPI port of PLC to the COM port of PC? Thank you.

Had one a month ago, but gave it away.

The MPI to USB converter is:
6ES7972-0CB20-0XA0 USB to MPI

Although this is not what you asked for.

Doug

The PC adapter that will connect to your serial port is: 6ES7972-0CA23-0XA0. You will need a null-modem cable (6ES7901-1BF00-0XA0).
However, the PC adapter for the USB port that Doug mentions is much better and cost the same.
