don't know about the rest of you, but the potential of being shocked is enough of a job hazard WITHOUT worrying about stray bullets....

I try to do business with all cards face up on the table.

How about a few cards?
Money?
Benefits?
What kind of work in what kind of plant
Who pays air fare to and from
Hazards (snakes bullets etc etc)
Etc etc

My wife has been known to take in strays.

I am going to be in the UAE in September (Abu Dhabi), maybe I should 'pop' across the border and check this out...

I know S5 and S7, but what I know about AB you could write on the back of a postage stamp in capital letters and still have room for the lords prayer...

Maybe I should spend the next 4 months learning AB :nodi:

Learning AB

Paul, with your background and talent, you would not require 4 months to learn AB. Over a weekend maybe, possibly 4 days, but not four months. On the Saudi thing, I would not bother to go there. Just goes to show you that oil can not buy everything.

I was only joking about popping over the border to Saudi, I am going to Abu Dhabi for a holiday with a very good friend of mine who has been working and living there for the last 15 months..
I won't go into any details, but I will say he is ex-British Army and is there in a teaching capacity.

I do believe that you require a license to purchase alcohol, or you can drink in hotel bars and ex-pat clubs, so having a few drinks while on holiday should not be a problem.
