Hi,

I am new to this forum. Nice to meet you all.

I want to connect a simatic S5 throught 3964R Protocol to My PC for running a HMI software.

Is there any free HMI design software which supports 3964R Protocol?

I am a C programmer, so a communication library for 3964R will also be ok.

Hello Marifhossain;

Welcome to the forum.
You can look at Citect Scada; you can download the development package free from this site:
http://www.citect.com/products/citectscada/features

It is a very good package, combining user-friendly interfaces and powerful programming alternatives. It supports hundreds of drivers, 3964R amongst others, and it allows online connections for 15 minutes at a time without having to buy a runtime license. Of course, when you are ready to run it at your client's, they expect you to purchase the runtime...

Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
