Distance for MLX 1500 Modbust RTU

Hi,

Does anyone know what's the max distance for Modbust RTU for MLX 1500 LRP Processor?

By default the media should be rs-232, for better distance a rs-232 to rs485 convertor must be use, pls correct me if i'm wrong.

That's correct; the serial ports on the MicroLogix 1500 are RS-232 only, so they're good for about 50 to 100 feet.

An RS-485 converter extends the distance to about 4000 feet.
