analog input programming

I am a new learner of plc that is everthing is going fine but ı have problems about analog inputs in siemens s5 and new s7 plc.Can anyone help me giving an example step by step about an analog input programming process in s5 and s7.(for example if we have a sensor0-4ma or 0-10v) I mean can anyone write a program step by step.
