Hai, Ihave a omron sysmac CPM1A I would like to Know where I can find the data for this.It is used in a machine, it does not work properly.I would like to know how to repair it or interface with computer.

First you must have the interface unit "CPM1-CIF01" and syswin software.

if the link above dont work just google "syswin" and you will see it headed up as chapter 6 also omron has a real good download section on its website for its manuals and stuff

you can get CX programmer instead of syswin...

it does not work properly.

What the heck does that mean? Are the power and run lights on? Is it only that an output does not turn on? Much more detail required.

you can use rs-232 to interface from your plc with PC and you also use CX-programmer software.

The CPM1A does not have an RS232 port to my knowledge. The CPM2A does. You require an inteface unit.
