I have (2) siemens s7-318 that have a bad MPI port. I also have an OP17 and (9) OP3 that have the same problem. Does anyone have a good source for repairing these items? All of the item power up fine, it's just the MPI port.

Another source is www.idmcontrols.com look for the depot repair group. They do all brands of industrial automation equipment repair. Drives, PLC's, process controls, etc.

They have 2 offices, one in Houston, TX and the other in St. Charles, IL.

Don't let the initial web site cause doubts, they do Siemens, quotes are free and no work is done until you approve it.
