Panel View +

Hi All,
I've just been informed that we may be getting a Panel View + screen on one of the projects coming onto site ,what software do I need (I think its RSView Studio), to be able to modify the display once it's on site (the boss is bound to want to add more screen's to the display).Also any idea on cost in £ of the software?

Yes, you will need RSView Studio. I am not sure about the price?

Jezz, We bought it last September (part no. AB9701-VWSTMENEPR) - the list at the time was £428.00, but there was a promotion on of 50% discount. Just check with your local AB, i'm sure somebody mentioned a Rockwell price increase as of Aug 26th (on certain products).......Hope this helps

BTW, you now need the development file if you wish to alter a program. It's not like PanelBuilder on the old PV's where you could just upload, alter and download. Be sure to get the original development file from whoever supplies the equipment with the PV+ on.

Make sure you get it as an archive file - created by RSView Studio's "Application Manager". If they give you a copy of the development directory (lots of little files) you will have to do a few extra steps to fool the system into accepting the project.
