Sir i want to know the function of BI & DE functions used in timer & counter operations in Sematic S5 controller

While timing the BI and DE outputs are showing the remainder of the time. To use them you have to assign a word to these pins, e.g. a flag word. The BI outputs shows the remainin time in simple integer format, this is the same format used for KF numbers. The DE output shows it in a decimal form, this means using BCD formatting in the same way as the KT format is made up. DE does not show the timebase, DE does.
