Hello,
I am working with a CP341 com card with Modbus com. I am trying to go across a radio to another site. Works great except every once in awhile it will hickup. When this happens i get incorrect data.
I have the radio doing error correction but i need to do some kind of error correction for the master cp341 card.
I figure i would get the data from the other site and place it in a DB, all of the Data Blocks are different sizes, after being placed in a temp db area ,if i get a received without error bit, no receive error bit and no error status bit then copy the DB, a certain length of the data base because of the different size db, to the correct db area.
I need to do a db copy to a certain db with a certain length to send.
If someone has done some kind of error correction with the cp341 card i would appreciate it if you could show me how you did this.
I had tried to get them to get the profibus radios. This would have worked alot better. The radios act like a PLC.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Merlin Knight
