presently i am using s5 plc with cpu 115u with op5. i want to change the op5 with tp170 is it possible? if possible guide me how to do it?

It is not possible to convert an OP5 to TP170 automatically.
The only option to convert automatically is OP5 to OP7.
This you do in Protool with the File .. Convert function.

It is relatively easy to convert from OP5 to TP170 manually.
Open both the old OP5 project and the new TP170 in Protool, then copy-and-paste relevant things such as tags and alarm messages to the new project.
Only the screen functionality are so different on the two panels that you have to create the screens manually.

thanks for your reply, my purpose is to interface TP170 WITH S5 115U PLC FOR WHICH I AM CURRENTLY USING OP5. KINDLY SUGGEST IS THERE ANY WAY TO DO IT.
THANKS
