I'm in the process of designing a system for the EU market,
I was wondering if anybody had any information, or experience on how to get CE approved and if I need to consider other things.

Presently we are CSA approved.

Thank you

Hi

You don't need to get CE approved as such...

Google for the terms:

"CE mark"
"self-certification"
"technical file"

in a single search

I have been reading up on the subject, I notice that I might be already approved, because I'm CSA approved.

Since it's my first time sending machinery in the EU, I wanted some advice on what would be the best approach, what should I consider. For example the voltage and the Hz are different from North American standards.

Any information on this subject would much appreciated.
