Hi, I'm new in this forum and I have aquestion I would like to know the answer.
In RS 5000, what instruction is used or how is done "Scale with parameters". Thank you.

The scaling is all done in the module configuration. I've attached a screen shot showing how a 4-20mA signal was scaled to 0-150. Each analog input and output channel can be set up differently. This has taken the place of the SCP instruction...there still exists a SCL, but it is not available in the ladder logic module.

If you need to scale values that are not module related; you will have to use the scaling formula and a compute function. I'm not at work right now, but check the Logix 5000 helps files. The formula should be in there.

Edit: Found the formula. Have to put this into the Compute instruction. EU=Engineering Units or what ever you scaling it to. Hope this helps.
