IL language for S7-300

Sorry for my ignorance, but I have a quick question, how do I use IL language for programming S7-300 PLCs?
I have found a PDF manual with description of all Instructions for that PLC, but in my Step 7 software, I have no IL language choice, I have a choice between "LAD", "STL" and "FBD" in the View menu.
